Airplane
The best way to reach Pisa is by airplane.
The International Airport Galileo Galilei is very well served from all over Europe and it's a Ryanair 's base. The airport is located very close to the city and you can reach the center by train, bus or taxi.
The Compagnia Pisana Trasporti (CPT) connects the Airport to Pisa’s city centre every 10 minutes.
Going down the main streets, the Red LAM Line (Linea Alta Mobilità) crosses the Arno over the Ponte Solferino and arrives at the Field of Miracles (5 minutes from the "Ospedale S. Chiara" stop), with the world-famous Leaning Tower.
From the Airport, the main stops of the no. 1 bus are: Pisa Central Station, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Riversides (4 stops), Santa Chiara Hospital.
The EUR 0.90 ticket is valid for one hour on the entire city network.
The airport can be accessed by the A12 from Genoa, Florence, Leghorn, and Pisa. The A11 links the airport with Leghorn, Pisa, and Florence.

Train
Trains run from the railway station next to the terminal, with services to Lucca via Pisa Centrale, Florence (Firenze SMN) via Pisa Centrale, Pontedera and Empoli, as well as a service to Florence via Montecatini and Pistoia.

From Florence, Bologna, Rome: highway A11 Firenze-Mare, exit Pisa nord and then ss. Aurelia until Pisa;
- From Genoa, Rosignano: highway A12 Genova-Livorno-Cecina, exit Pisa nord or Pisa centro
